What to Expect for Your Shawnie K Family Session
At Shawnie K Photography, my goal is to make your family session fun, stress-free, and full of beautiful moments you'll treasure forever. To ensure the best experience and results, here are a few tips to help you prepare:
1. Arrive Early (15 Minutes)
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This gives us a buffer to get settled and ensures we don’t lose precious daylight. Starting on time is key to making the most of your session!
2. Come Dressed and Ready to Shine
Arrive ready to go—outfits on, hair styled, and smiles prepped. Please avoid giving little ones snacks before or during the session. Sticky hands, messy clothes, and red faces from cleanups can distract from the polished results we’re aiming for.
3. Keep It Simple: Leave Extras in the Car
To keep the session light and creative, I suggest leaving bags, blankets, backpacks, and even cell phones in the car. I often capture beautiful, candid shots while we’re walking to the location, and carrying extra items can be a distraction. Keeping things simple allows us to focus on creating stunning images.
4. The Day of Your Session
I’ll arrive 30 minutes early to set up and scout the perfect angles and lighting for each shot. This preparation ensures we can begin shooting right on schedule, keeping the session smooth and efficient so you can get back to your day quickly.
5. After Your Session
Following the session, I’ll carefully and lightly edit each image to ensure a polished, professional look. Within 30 days, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery where you can download high-resolution and web-ready images—perfect for printing, sharing, and enjoying on any platform.
